“What I love most about Resident Alien by Stuart Spencer is the way that the comedy holds up a mirror to the basic decency and goodness of people from Wisconsin,” Says Director Michael Daehn, “as seen through the eyes of an ultimate outsider from somewhere out there in space!”

Michael is a longtime director, educator on the college and high school levels, and national arts advocate. He is a recently retired directing, acting and theatre education professor at Ball State University in Muncie, Indiana, a

member of the Educational Theatre Association’s Hall of Fame and a recipient of their esteemed Founder’s Award. This will be his 190th production as a director and he is so very thankful to everybody who helped create all those wonderful experiences, and especially, to STC for the opportunity to help guide the telling of this truly delightful out of this world story.
