What to prepare:

Bring with you any conflicts you may have for the duration of the production.

Prepare a cut of a song (around 32 measures) that showcases your vocal skills. Please provide sheet music that lays flat, and pages turn easily as an accompanist will be provided.

We would prefer the song be in a pop/musical theatre style for most roles. If you are unsure of what to prepare, simply choose something you feel suits you best. You will still be considered if all you have is Happy Birthday.

We may ask you to read sides (short excerpts) from the show.

A headshot, resumé, and short monologue are all a plus, but not a requirement.

What to expect:

Arrive early to fill out any necessary forms. This will include your conflicts and basic audition info.

After your audition we may ask you to return for a callback. If scheduling allows, callbacks will be Wednesday night.

Unless you prefer another method, you will be contacted via email as soon as casting decisions are made.

Show information:

Rehearsals for Sister Act will begin 8/22/22 and run Monday-Friday 6:30-9:30. Tech weekend is 9/24-9/25 and performances are 9/30-10/2 and 10/6-10/8. While you may not be called to rehearsal every day, please be sure to list any scheduling conflicts.

The Character Breakdown is below so you can familiarize yourself with the roles available. Please send any questions to STCSisterAct@gmail.com and write SISTER ACT QUESTIONS as the subject.
