-if you have a resume, you may skip this step and attach it

What to record:

Each submission should be no longer than 2 minutes and no less than 30 seconds. State your name and what you will be performing at the beginning of the video. Record a cut of a song (preferably 70’s pop sound) that shows off your voice and your ability to act while singing. Moving your body to the music is encouraged. If you are able to include accompaniment, please do.

Several roles may become non-singing roles. If you do not sing and would still like to audition, you may submit a short monologue instead.

You may include a demonstration of your vocal range, but it is not required.

What to expect:

We are trying a new approach to auditions for this show and will be accepting video submissions until 8/1/22. Early submissions are encouraged. In that time we may contact you and ask to see more as casting continues (such as a different style song or reading from the script). To accommodate those unable to submit via email we will hold in-person auditions at a date TBD. We may hold a callback following auditions if necessary. Casting offers will go out shortly after in-person auditions are complete.

We recognize this is a longer process than usual. If a new potential conflict comes up before casting is complete please let us know.

Show information:

Rehearsals for Sister Act will begin 8/22/22 and run Monday-Friday 6:30-9:30. Tech weekend is 9/24-9/25 and performances are 9/30-10/2 and 10/6-10/8. While you may not be called to rehearsal every day, please be sure to list any scheduling conflicts.
